I am writing to let you know how pleased we are with our new Millennium Windows.  We had been wanting to update our home, and thought that replacing the windows would make the biggest impact with the least cost.  Right away friends and neighbors began commenting on how great the windows looked.  When the time came to wash windows, I couldn't believe how easy and pleasant it was compared to the chore of cleaning the old, cracked, etched single pane windows.  Not only have the windows increased our home's curb appeal, but the view from inside has greatly improved.  I think this may be because there is no glare and there are no distracting scratches on the glass.  The new windows have also cut down on the sound of passing traffic.

Now for the biggie: energy savings!  We had our windows installed just after the New Year.  I compared our energy usage from January 2007 to January 2008, and we used 32% fewer kWh.  The average temperature for January '07 and January '08 was very similar, 42.3 degrees and 46.9 degrees respectively.  Given that we made no additional changes to our home or thermostat habits, it looks like these windows are doing exactly what we hoped they would: save money!  We're looking forward to more savings during the summer when extreme Texas heat kicks into full gear.

Now for a note on the actual process of installation: The crew made the process stress-free by explaining the process and answering all our questions.  The work was done quickly and efficiently, and most importantly, with attention to detail.  We were very pleased with the finished results and the cleanup that was done afterwards  Our home and the yard were spotless when they left at the end of the day.
